Which community leaders are seeing An Inconvenient Truth?

An Inconvenient Truth is playing at Del Oro at least through Thursday August 3.

The project:

Ask* our community leaders if they've seen An Inconvenient Truth;

If they haven't seen it:
Offer them a pair of theatre passes to see it.
If they decline, record this fact, and thank them for their time.
If they accept, find out how/where we can give them the passes.

If they have seen it (or, if they accept the passes, contact them after they've seen it):
Ask them to rate the film on a 1-5 scale
(where 1="Don't waste your time", and 5="Go") for two measures:
1) whether they found it worthwhile
and
2) whether other community leaders should see it

Interested in supporting this project?

Who do you think should see the film?
Are you willing to be named as a supporter of this project?
Are you willing to sponsor someone? ($15 for 2 passes)
If so, anyone in particular?

Please leave name and contact info in the comments, or email Anna at ncfocus2003@yahoo.com with "An Inconvenient Truth" in the Subject.

Here's a script (it's in the comments to this post)

Here's the spiel as a script
(or for copy/paste into an email):

greetings...

You're seen as a community leader in Nevada County, and we're hoping you can give us 30 seconds of your time.

I'm part of an ad hoc group formed to encourage Nevada County's community leaders to see the film An Inconvenient Truth, very briefly gather their impressions of it, and then publish this information.

First, have you seen the film?
(it's playing at Del Oro through Thursday Aug. 3)

If you've seen it, could you rate it on two criteria, using a 1-5 scale
(where 1 is "don't waste your time" and 5 is a must-see)
A) Did the film provide useful and important information? (1-5)
B) Should our community leaders see it? (1-5)

If you haven't seen it, would you like a pair of passes to see it?
(afterwards we'll ask you to rate it)

Thank you for your time.
